I can’t believe Colton won’t be on Teen Wolf anymore. I will still support him no matter what. He will go down in history as Jackson.

Everything Is Not What It Seems

This is my entry for the contest Teen Wolf just had for the fan fiction. I worked really hard on this and I hope I win so I can meet Jeff Davis. This is just what I had to do. It had to be under 3000 words and contain no cursing, sex and stuff like that. I made this. I decided that I wanted to continue the story on here. Thank you for reading and please tell me what you thing and sorry for the typos. :)

Beacon Hills was far from your normal town. Sure it was small, and most towns that are small are really quiet. Not Beacon Hills. In the past year, so much has happened that people still haven’t solved. Murders were the #1. People getting killed for absolutely no reason. The arson of the Hale House was a mystery for years. Last year when people that were somehow connected, were being murder. The thought was an animal. What type of animal goes around killing humans? After Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski released that it was Derek Hale responsible for the mysterious murders including his own sister, the town was going crazy. The town has been flipped from the quiet town with nothing interesting, to the most talked about town. But, nobody really knew what they were talking about..
Eleanor Hartford was a junior. She had always been the more quiet type of girl. She had moved here with her mother after her parents got a divorce last year. She had braces and frizzy hair. She just laid low. She sat alone and just didn’t have friends. This year was different. She got her braces off and got a new kind of confidence. She started caring more about her looks. She changed her style and became a more fashionista than a nerd. She still focused on school, but she also liked the way she looked at the end of the day.
It was a new year. Ever since life had changed from the Jackson and Matt dying, the school had been quieter. Eleanor walked in and went to her locker hoping to be down low. Instead she got everyone staring at her. She got blush. She wasn’t much for attention like this. She goes to her locker and goes to her first class. On her way she bumps into someone and falls back dropping all her books with her.
“I am so sorry.” She says hanging her head down. Her straight hair dangles off her head. She gets up and starts picking up her books. She realizes her novel isn’t there. She looks up and the boy is holding it.
“I like this story.” He says. She gives a weak smile. “You new here?” She looks at him confused. Does he not recognize her?
“No.” She says taking it.
“Oh, sorry. I’m Isaac.” He sticks his hand out.
“Eleanor.” She says just walking away. He is standing there shocked. She just walks away. After he stares off at nothing for a few seconds he runs after the girl.
“Hey!” She stops. “You left.” She smiles.
“Nice job figuring that one out.” He laughs.
“You’re different than most girls here aren’t you.”
“Yeah, I am real unlike some people.” She says staring at one in particular. Lydia Martin. The girl who runs the school. After dating Jackson she had just became Miss Popular. Eleanor hated her. She believed that Lydia thought she was the ruler of the world. She got everything she wanted if she just asked. Eleanor envied her for that. Eleanor grew up not with the best childhood. Her father and mother seemed to always whisper things and when she would ask what they were talking about, they’d shrug it off. When Eleanor was 13, her father moved out. She would visit. Her parents couldn’t afford a divorce so they just went on separate paths. One time, she found a bottle labeled with her name. She examined it. Her father walked in and snatched it away from her and told her that was nothing and she needs to stop messing with his things. He more screamed at her. That was the last time she saw her father.
“Well, if my opinion counts. You’re the number one girl at the school to me.” Eleanor blushes but rolls her eyes and goes to her first class.
The school year goes on and homecoming approaches. Eleanor finds herself fully not wanting to go. Even though her new sense of her inner girl has appeared, she wasn’t into that.
“Hey El.” Someone calls. Eleanor looks and see’s Isaac coming in her English class. “Being a nerd as usual?” He asks. She smiles.
“You know it.” Over the past few weeks they have grown a friendship. Considering that most of their classes were the same, it seemed it was destined.
“Hey so, you know I play for lacrosse right?” Eleanor nods. Isaac had told her that he loved it and it helped with his anger. He had said he was pretty good. “Well, I was wondering if you would like to you know come?”
“I don’t really like sports.” He smiles.
“I know but you can just watch. I know some people you can hang with.”
“Like who? I am not really popular.”
“Please, if I said your name I could find people talking about you.” She laughs. “So, will you go?”
“Fine.” He cheers. “Now do your work dork.”
“Eleanor?” Eleanor looks and see’s Erica Reyes calling her over. She walks over. “Isaac said that you were coming, I didn’t expect you to come.” She just nodded unsure what to do. “How have you been?”
“Fine. You look fine too.” Erica and Eleanor were friends last year. Erica had epilepsy and didn’t have many friends. Eleanor was just a nerd so they just bonded. When Erica ran off and became “hotter” as the guys would put it, she was left alone.
“Yeah sorry about that, stuff just happened.” She says apologetically. “This is Boyd.” She smiles at the boy.
“The game should start soon, let’s take a seat.” Boyd says. We sit together.
At the end of the game, they won. Everyone was cheering and running on the field. Erica and Boyd had gone somewhere and Eleanor was just wondering around. Unsure of where Isaac was she decided she would just go home. She was walking to her car when she got pulled away with a hand on her mouth. She tried to scream but no sound came. She was pulled over and saw Isaac. She froze.
“Hi nerd.” Eleanor growls and slaps him.
“Do you know how scared I was? I thought you were a rapist or a murder!” She screams. He laughs.
“Who says I’m not.” She rolls her eyes.
“Good job, you played well.” He smiles.
“Thanks.” The awkwardness takes over. “If I did something would you slap me?”
“Depends.” Eleanor says truthfully. Isaac smiles and starts leaning in. Eleanor feels his breath against her lips from him. Her eyes close as if it was something natural when his lips land on hers. His our soft and he seems somewhat light if that makes any sense. The kiss starts off silent and just awkward. As they both get more confident they move more. His arms land around her waist as hers go to his neck. Their lips move in a magical sync and the sparks are flying. This is Eleanor’s first real kiss. If this is on her expectations list, it goes above and beyond. After a couple minutes they pull apart panting.
“That was…” Isaac begins but gets lost in words.
“Amazing.” Eleanor finishes smiling.
“I really like you El.” She smiles brighter. “Will you go to homecoming with me?” Eleanor doesn’t know what to do. But tonight has just been amazing especially with the kiss and before she can think she answers.
“Yes.”
Isaacs life wasn’t going as well as it should be. Being a beta was complicated. He was working with Scott and Derek still. Derek Hale and Peter Hale were not working to help train him. Scott would just insure him that it was the right way. He had been training and aware that  a new pact was here. He hasn’t seen them. He has just been focused on preparing for when the time came.
“We have to be ready.” Derek says as Boyd and Erica nod. “They are stronger than us. Than me.” He says.
“Good job figuring the obvious out Derek.” Peter says. Derek rolls his eyes. “There is a full moon next Friday-“
“Wait, that’s homecoming!” Isaac interrupts.
“So?” Derek says.
“I well, I erh, kind of.”
“He has a date.” Erica finishes. “Eleanor Hartford.”
“What’s her last named?” Peter asks.
“Hartford..” Isaac says. Peters eyes widen. “Why?”
“I know that name.” He pulls out the laptop and searches through files.
“Is she bad?” Boyd asks. Bad, such a kid dish word.
“I don’t know.” Peter says.
“So helpful.” Derek adds. Peter rolls his eyes. Whatever she is, good or bad, Isaac was falling for her.
It was the night of homecoming. Eleanor’s mother was thrilled her daughter had a date. She took her dress shopping and found the perfect shorter dark blue dress. She styled her hair in an updo and added light makeup. Isaac had been acting weird all week. Everytime Eleanor would bring up the dance he would tense up. She was confused. Had she done something wrong? It was 7 when Isaac picked her up. He stared at her in pure aw.
“You look amazing.” He says. She smiles and blushes.
“Not so bad yourself.” She says hugging him. “Shall we?” She jokes. They arrive at the dance and the gym is filled with loud music and dancing teens. She spots a few of the people she had begun talking to. Isaac looks around and just keeps moving. “You okay?” She asks.
“Fine, want some punch?” She nods and he goes to get her some.
“Hi, Eleanor?” She looks and a man stands behind her. “My name is Jay. I am friends with your father.” She freezes.
“W-What are you doing here?” She stutters.
“Your father needs help.” She just stares at him blankly. “From you.”
Isaac returns look for Eleanor but she had banished. This wasn’t good. Ever since Peter said he knew the name, he had been worried about her. Considering tonight was a full moon, he was already worked up. He spots Scott and Stiles.
“Have you seen Eleanor?” He asks.
“Hartford?” Stiles asks. He nods. “She left earlier with some man.” He freezes.
“Everything alright?” Scott asks.
“I think she is in danger. Peter said he knows the name. He doesn’t know how but-“
“Let’s go look for her.”
Eleanor arrives to her mother’s house. The house was empty tonight. Her mother was away on business after she left.
“How do you know my father?” She asks.
“We are in a pact together.” Eleanor stares at him confused as he smiles. “Where do you keep medicine?” Eleanor takes him to the cabinet.
“What do you need?” She asks. They get there and she opens it revealing a bottle she had never seen. It looked almost like the bottle she found years ago. He grabs it. “W-What is that?” She stutters. He smiles.
“Something you will never need again.” He smashes it to the ground. “Now, let’s go see your father.” Eleanor nods. They go downstairs and she is about to leave when he stops her.
“What?”
“Someone is here.” He says. How does he know that? He looks at the window and curses. “Do you know them?” He asks pulling her over. There she sees Isaac, Scott and Stiles walking towards the house.
“Yeah, that’s my date and his friends.” He curses again. He grabs her too tight and just pulls her out the door. “Ouch you’re hurting me.” She says. He doesn’t loosen his grip and it actually becomes more. “Ouch.” She says as his nails dig into her. He pulls her out the window and they head to the car. They drive off to who knows where. Eleanor looks at her wrist and discovers she is bleeding. She uses her dress to wipe it off. She discovers claw marks, not nail prints. She tenses up staring at the man.
“What are you?” She asks putting them up. He smiles.
“The same thing as you.”
Isaac and the boys examine the house. They find nothing. Isaac goes to the back door and finds fresh blood on the ground. He looks closer and the smell identifies it as Eleanor’s. He freezes.
“Scott, Stiles!” He screams. They come running. He points at the blood. “She is in danger.” They all get into Stiles jeep and ride in the direction of her scent. Scott pulled one of her dirty clothes and follows it. Isaac is freaking out. He really likes Eleanor and doesn’t want anything to happen to her. He just hopes they will get there in time.
“We’re here.” He says as they pull into the lot. She tenses up and just nods. They get out. He puts a jacket over her. “Just to keep you warm.”
“I’m fine, actually a little hot.”
“That’s normal.” Eleanor is so confused.
“Where is my father?”
“In there.” She nods and walks there. There she sees a man in the desk just staring at a computer. He looks up and smiles.
“Eleanor.” He says.
“Dad.” She says with a fake smile.
“Finally, you can finally live the life I wanted you to live.”
“What are you-” She freezes looking to the corner where her mother sits tied up with ducktape over her mouth. She looks back to her father who’s smile has faded. Two men walk in and look at her. “Get the injection ready.” He demands.
“Are you sure this is it?” Stiles asks. We nod. “It looks pretty abandoned.”
“Her scent is here, look at that car.” Scott points.
“That was at her house.” Isaac jumps out.
“Hey!” Scott yells. “We can’t just run in there. We have no clue who they are and what’s going on.” Isaac nods knowing he is right. “Just keep calm. Stiles-“
‘Stay here, I get it.”
“Please, just let us go. Dad?” He laughs.
“You really don’t know. I am trying to help you. Make you stronger. That is all i ever wanted but your mother never let me. She wanted you to be a secret. She wouldn’t let you be yourself.” Eleanor looks over at her tied up mother.
“What is he talking about?” She asks. Her father gets closer and she stares and sees how his eyes change from brown to a deep red and his teeth get fangs.
“You my daughter are one of us.” She looks and see’s the men changing the same way as her father. She looks at her mother who is also changing. What is going on.
“Do you hear anything?” Isaac asks. Scott shakes his head. “I hope she’s okay.” He nods.
“I think-“
“Sh!” Isaac cuts him off as he hears something.
“You my daughter are one of us.” He hears a voice say. He goes to a window and looks in. There he sees Eleanor thrown on the dirty ground staring in confusion. The hardest is seeing the men around with their eyes red and they are fully transformed.
“They’re the alphas.” Scott says.
“We need to get in there.” Isaac snaps.
“What are you?” Eleanor asks.
“Werewolves, but better. We are alphas. A pact actually.” He answers.
“Why have I never changed.” He smiles and goes to his desk grabbing a container.
“Because of this. Your mother injected you with it once a month and it prevented you from changing.” He says. Eleanor looks over at her mother and just blinks. “This though.” She looks back at him. “Will keep you like this forever even with the cure.”
“Cure?” Eleanor asks.
“Yes, there is a cure for this my dear.” He comes up and messes with her hair. She flinches. “Now, let’s get you all alpha up.”
“Not on my watch.” Isaac says running in. He tackles Eleanor’s father. Eleanor screams.
“Isaac stop! You don’t know what he’s capable of!” But he does. He looks up and his eyes change and he changes. Eleanor sits there dumbfounded. What is going on. As Scott runs in and does the same thing, Eleanor works up strength to help her mom. She goes over unties her.
“You should have told me.” She says. Her mom nods. “We’re getting out of here.” She looks over and sees her father on top of Isaac.
“No stop!” She screams. He shakes his head and pushes him against the wall. He falls and goes unconscious. The same thing happens with Scott. Her father comes over with a needle. “Now, let’s do this.” She tries to run but is stopped by the helpers. He injects her with the needle and she screams. Isaac and Scott jump up and run to help. Eleanor falls to the ground. She feels dizzy and the world is spinning. She looks and see’s what looks like fighting. She can’t even move. She looks at her nails and they are growing. Not just into anything, claws. She feels like this is all a dream, but it isn’t. She faints.
“Eleanor, please El wake up.” Eleanor is awoken by Isaac standing over her. She gets up.
“What happened?” Scott looks at Isaac and nods.
“El, uh, there is like special things. As in werewolves.” Eleanor just stares blankly. “We are two of them.”
“As in Scott and you?” She asks. They nod.
“And now you.” Scott adds. Eleanor stares and then panics.
“W-What?” Scott pulls out a mirror and shows her it. She looks straight into it and see’s deep blue eyes and fangs.
“Welcome to our world.” Isaac says. All she knows is, this happened so fast and now she knows. Everything is not what it seems.
